Why Yoga or Pilates and Horse Riding

The whole point of Yoga and Pilates practiced before a riding session is warming up and stretching the muscles, improving concentration and breathing, control and precision of the movement.

The whole point of yoga and Pilates practiced after a riding session is to help the body defend itself against muscle stiffness and prevent muscle and tendon tears.

Objective of the stay: relaxation and pleasure for individuals, couples and families

How Horse Riding Works

Our program offers a lot of FLEXIBILITY to all riders regardless of their level, while practicing 2-hour horseback riding sessions that can be used

at any time of the day by reservation.

Our Different Accomodations

1) Guest Houses In Mimizan, (From Sunday to Sunday) offer with hot water swimming pool and Sona , from 5 meters to  150 meters from the Riding Center.
1 Guest house with 4 bedrooms for 2 to 4 people,                                                                                                                                          

1 Guest house with 1 big bedroom and 2 bathroom for 6 people,  

1 House  with a suite of 2 bedrooms + 1 small kitchen  from to 2 to 5 people   

1 House with 3 bedrooms for 2, 2 and 4 people  with out side kitchen  and Sona            

with hot water swimming pool and Sona , situated  at 150 meters from the Riding Center.

1 independant house  for 4 to 8 people with 3 bedrooms+ Great Kitchen + Living Room and TV + Dining room + 1 bathroom and an out side shower

 

2) 1 Hotel** in Mimizan beach (From any day) if we do not have space in the guest house .

How Horse Riding Works Riders, ..

 

Focus of the Horse riding    Outdoors activities (trails in the forest or on the beach).

whatever their level, have a personal card of 8 sessions of 2 hours These sessions can be used at any time of the day by reservation the day before.

They can be of a duration of:

– 2 hours – half-day forest beach outing (2 sessions of 2 hours taken from the card)

– outing for the day including lunch included (3 sessions of 2 hours taken from the card)

Breakfasts and lunches are included in the price, lunches are country meals based on various salads, dinners are complete and well-prepared meals including Soda or Wine (1 / 4l / pers) as well as coffee or tea at the end of a meal. Dinners are taken either at the Equestrian Center, and for those who have chosen half-board, various restaurants offer French, Spanish, Asian, Italian, Moroccan cuisine in the village …..

The Horse Riding and Yoga or Pilates Program will be established at the start of the stay for the week according to your wishes and our availability.!

Rider Accommodation Rate   for the Guest House  or the Hotels in half-board

Prices  per 1 person :           8 days / 7 nights In half-Board  and  Shared bedroom

From November   to Mars                                   1049 € + additional night in half-board 84 €     

From April Mai June September- October         1150 €  + additional night in half-board 89 € €    

From July and August                                         1249 €  + additional Night in half-board 98€

No single supplement for the people alone when they want a share bedroom, if we have some body to share with them

Single rooms Supplement of:  105 €  in Low  season  November to the end of Marsh .  170 € in   Average season  April to June + September to October   210  € in High season July and August

Priority Stay of our 3 Guest Houses are for double, twin or shared bedroom .The Riders in the Single Bedroom may stay in Guest Houses  if some Bedrooms are free, otherwise they’ll get same level accommodation in a two stars Hotels in front of the ocean in Mimizan Beach .

Double or  twin  bedrooms supplement of 85 € / rider in the average season ; 105 € / rider in July  and August.

Supplement  Full Board:  175 €                     Supplement by meal : 28 €  for riders

Supplement insurance for riders without the French federal insurance : 25 €

Prices are given in shared room including breakfast and dinner.

    We (two adults and one 14 year old) have just come back from our second week with Michel and his very welcoming family. And of course the fantastic horses, some of which we have fallen in love with.
    Our first week was the flexible riding programme and we were impressed with the varied riding in the area. The opportunity to ride independently or in front of the group is so unusual and has given us all a wonderful sense of freedom and confidence.
    On our second visit we decided to do the adapted jumping programme. Unlike previous jumping courses we have taken, this one taught us how to keep our horse in balance at all times. The explanations of how and why each of our leg, hand or body movements changed the way the horse responded and then how that affected its position and our control of the horse was just incredible. We were encouraged to practice skills learned in the arena out on the trail and as a consequence our riding skills advanced greatly.
    Michel’s kindness to each of us as well as his horses is heart-warming. He also has a very good sense of humour which has endeared the youngest in our group to him in particular.
    Every horse that we rode was perfectly matched to us. Each was fun to ride but also safe and very well-schooled. It really was a privilege to ride them.
    Michel’s enthusiasm and his pleasure in seeing us develop was infectious. We will be back very soon for more!
