One-day outdoor riding course for beginner adults. Discovery and improvement.
The goal of our riding courses and instruction is to make horseback riding accessible to everyone, to help discover the close bond that can develop between humans and horses, and to instill a solid foundation leading as quickly as possible to riding independently. Ultimately, it's about demonstrating that with a few essential concepts, it's easy to safely enjoy a wonderful mode of transportation, explore the environment and natural landscapes, and access all the opportunities that equestrian tourism offers.
Two 2-hour horseback riding sessions in the Landesforest. Learning to post the trot and introduction to cantering uphill.

Program
First experience on horseback
3 hours, including 2 hours on horseback
Meet at the equestrian center. Welcome and introduction to the facilities, the horses and the team of instructors.
After participating in the preparation of their mounts, participants will have their first riding experience in the arena in the morning, culminating in a ride through our Landes. (Duration: 3 hours, including 2 hours in the saddle).
They will learn to observe the horse from a higher vantage point, control its speed and direction, and be introduced to the standing position in balance, which will allow them to approach cantering uphill at the end of the day, if all goes well. Most importantly, they will master the technique of posting trot, an essential step for safely tackling the ride later in the morning.
Lunch break at the center.

Improvement and gallop
3 hours, including 2 hours on horseback
Brushing and preparing the horse, returning to the arena for a few minutes to get back into the swing of things and discover better sensations and support to feel even more secure.
Another outing in the woods to refine speed and direction control at the walk and trot, moving independently of other riders.
A canter uphill to get a feel for the pace… and quickly convince ourselves that, ultimately, it's easier and, above all, more comfortable than trotting. Back to the stables to brush, feed, and pet the horses. Briefing on this first equestrian experience.
Ideal for beginners, these days are also suitable for riders with some experience who wish to improve their skills and gain more independence. We also offer 2-dayand 1-week that allow beginners to learn to jump obstacles at all three gaits and to ride independently at all three gaits on the beach within a group of experienced riders.
