Program
Introduction and first outings in the forest
Meet at the equestrian center. Welcome and introduction to the facilities, the horses and the teaching team.
Participation in the preparation of your mount. First steps on horseback in the arena in the morning before moving on to the Landes forest (3 hours of activities including 2 hours on horseback).
Learning to understand the horse from a higher vantage point, controlling its speed and direction, and an introduction to standing in balance will allow us to approach cantering uphill at the end of the day, if all goes well. But above all, mastering the technique of posting trot is essential for safely tackling the morning ride.
Lunch at the equestrian lodge by the pool.
Activities resume in the afternoon (3 hours, including 2 hours on horseback).
Brushing and preparing the horse, returning to the arena to regain its bearings and acquire better footing.
Another outing in the woods to refine speed and direction control at the walk and trot, while riding independently of other riders. A canter uphill to discover the gait.
Back to the stables to brush, feed and pet the horses. Well-deserved rest at the gîte. Dinner.
Improvement
Meet to prepare the horses. Two 2-hour outdoor training sessions or, depending on the level achieved on the first day, a full-day ride with approximately 4 hours in the saddle. A rest period will be scheduled to share lunch, which will be transported or delivered to the center if there is no return trip.
It will be a relaxing day, where we will ride at a pace suited to our group's level, while continuing to improve our skills at all three gaits. Access to the beach may be possible at the end of the day.

Ideal for beginners, these training days are also suitable for riders with some experience who wish to refine their skills and gain greater independence. We also offer week-long courses that allow beginners to learn to jump obstacles at all three gaits and to ride independently at all three gaits on the beach and within a group of experienced riders on multi-day trail rides.
