Michel Girard Mille –
Hello Michel,
just a quick note to say I had to leave before I could say goodbye, and that I was delighted with my weekend riding with you.
A warm and generous welcome, a family atmosphere, comfort (after the exertion!), kindness, a gradual increase in riding difficulty, adaptability to the riders, the availability of the three of you, etc., etc.
The group of girls was also very nice; they were wonderful people to meet.
The setting was superb! I only knew the Landes for its beaches and pine forests, which seemed rather flat to me, even though I'm from
Langon and spent a lot of time there as a child, but further up the coast. I was delighted to discover varied and hilly landscapes, with water everywhere and in all its forms (not much rain
, actually!!!). And I FINALLY got to gallop on the beach!
Next step: a swim with your horse!!
And thank you to the horses—calm, hardy, reliable, kind, and well-behaved! (Which isn't the case everywhere!) With a warm thought and a big hug for Ihoby, who is truly adorable and whom I would love to see again someday.
Thank you so much for everything, and I hope to see you soon!
Warmly
, Laure

Hello Michel, Annette, and Yohan!
A huge thank you for this wonderful weekend!
Effie played a major role in making these two days unforgettable ; ) Thank you for trusting me and allowing me to meet her. I think you're in for a few surprises with her!
I'll definitely check out your TripAdvisor listing, as you deserve to be better known. I wish you all the best and a great season!
See you soon!

Michel Girard Mille –
I've just returned from a two-day trek on the back of Effy, a promising young mare, kindly lent to me by Michel, Annette, and Yoan. Rain, hail, and sunshine, I've tried to find fault with everything, but I can't. This is a place where passion, love, and respect for horses reign supreme. Effy was magical, but I can also speak for the other riders in my group, as each horse has its own personality and unique qualities, and all are very obedient. We rode with great confidence. This was truly enjoyable because Michel, Annette, and Yoan know them perfectly and take the time to introduce them to us. I particularly appreciated that we weren't obliged to ride in single file at all three gaits, but could move at our own pace. The individual canters were simply magical!
As for the logistics and accommodation, I have nothing to say except that everything was truly perfect (clean room, superb picnic and breakfast, excellent dinner at a restaurant). The landscapes are breathtaking, both in their beauty and diversity. And all this in a friendly and convivial atmosphere.
A nice bonus: Franck, the photographer, discreetly joined us on the hike to take tons of pictures! You were free to buy them or not.
So, a big thank you to the four of you, and I hope to see you very soon!

BERNAT Emma –
Hello Michel,
First of all, I want to thank Anne and you for the warm, welcoming, and very pleasant reception. I was eagerly awaiting this weekend, and back in Toulouse with a huge smile, I discovered the Landes in a whole new light, a truly magnificent place. With open arms, you showed us incredible, peaceful spots full of lovely surprises. The horses are wonderful, especially Lune—she's so energetic and has such a big heart. The sun shone brightly all two days—what more could we ask for!
A special mention for Anne; it was a wonderful idea to take photos. She did a fantastic job, and they're magnificent. I strongly encourage her to keep it up.
A big thank you to Michel for all his advice, both on horseback and on foot. Your home and the stables are beautiful.
I will cherish the memories and hope to see you again soon.
Thank you for making us dream these past two days, and all the best to you.
Sincerely,
Emma

We came for a weekend getaway with fellow riders and we weren't disappointed. The gîte is located in a peaceful and relaxing spot; you feel like you're on vacation as soon as you step out of the car. The accommodation is comfortable and tastefully furnished.
As for the horses, they were in great shape and always ready for exhilarating gallops in the forest or on the beach for a truly thrilling ride. At the beginning of the ride, we gradually got to know our mounts, trotting and then cantering individually so that Michel could give us some tips to feel comfortable. He makes a point of respecting his horses' independence, and it's lovely to go on a ride where you're not forced to follow each other and can each go at your own pace.
Anne took care of everything, meeting us at lunchtime by the lakes with delicious lunches and preparing excellent dinners for us as well.
As a bonus, Anne took photos of us at certain points along the hike, allowing us to have beautiful pictures as souvenirs if we wanted.
In short, beautiful scenery, fantastic horses, wonderful encounters, and a great atmosphere made for a fantastic weekend.
Thanks again to Michel, Anne, Yohan and Amelia for their welcome, and to Caroline, Marie, Célia, Cécile, Marie, Margot and Élise for the good times shared, and see you soon for more rides.
